I am from Czech Republic. I study Economics because hell I just need the degree and am worthless to study anything useful. My problem is I am not motivated at all. I am not quite sure how to bring myself to start writing it. All I have done so far is naming the capitols and maybe a few sentences. My bachelor´s thesis is called: Determination and Assessment of Selected Indicators of the Financial Analysis of Family Businesses. Basically, compare family-owned businesses with non-family owned. I chose to then select 2 specific family-owned businesses and do the financial analysis on them. I write this because I am bloody addicted to games, and YouTube. Maybe this might push me to do something useful but then again, I´ll probably spend some time replying to your comments. Please write something because I will check for a reply indefinitely. :D

Just think about how cold it is outside, how uncomfortable hunger is and how unenjoyable it is to cry from stress and depression. Do you fear the potential future in which you fail yet? Boom. Motivated. Joking aside, I fucking hated writing my thesis. Starting was the hardest part. Pick a section you're actually looking forward to writing (I'm hoping there's at least 1...) and start there. You'll have ideas and tie-ins for other parts when that's done. It gets easier from there. Also, once you hand it in, you'll suddenly realise exactly how you should've done it. That's the power of IRL levelling up. Good luck! You can do it if you set your mind to it!

Block your access to everything that distracts you. No , YouTube etc. Maybe a new user on your pc (without anything) is enough for that, maybe you have to do more. Do Pomodoro. Write the headlines first. Then the sub-headlines and in short what comes there. Oh yeah, I remember that family businesses have a better performance on the stock market in average than those that aren't family owned.

there is no magic trick.. you need to structure your work into smaller parts.. in your case the smallest parts you could think of.. i wrote my thesis in 2015 and now im the same lazy fuck doin nothing with my life ... so dont expect something to change after your degree

Dude i feel just the same. I‘m from Germany and I‘m studying Computer Science in my third semester currently. Exams are coming next month and all I do is play League, watch Netflix and masturbate. I hope to get into practice for my exams by the end of this week but the online semester due to Corona just drained all of my motovation. I hope we will both make it tho because my failute might mean that i get fired from work :-)

What companies did you choose? Maybe they are boring. First of all. China is the big selling point flr everything. My advice, the non family owned bussiness is the Chinese Republic with their state owned companies, like geely who are fucking daimler and volvo. Then take Volkswagen/Porsche as a family ruled/partially owned company. Hell, that's mafia, sex affairs, bribing, goverment politics and illegal stuff in one company. You could actually write a hollywood drama movie out of VW. And the point or final verdict of your thesis is, that both, China and VW are equal regarding human rights, mafia, bribing, affairs etc.
